NATIONAL ACCREDITATION FOR ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT

LONGWOOD DECEMBER 2002 - CERTIFIED ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT COMPANY, INC. is proud to announce that it has earned association management firm accreditation by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Certified Association Management Company, Inc. is currently the only association management company in Florida with the ASAE accreditation.

The ASAE-AMC Accreditation Program was established to identify standards of quality operation for companies and to increase the confidence of associations in their management relationships. The purpose of the ASAE-Accredited Program is to identify professional practices that are indicative of quality AMC services, assess the procedures of practices of individual AMC's, formally recognize those AMC's that meet the requirements, improve the quality and effectiveness of services and to encourage professional service to associations by AMC's.

According to AMC Accreditation Commission Chairman, William Drohan, CAE, "It is anticipated that this accreditation will become widely known as the distinguishing credential of quality association management companies. This is an important step in the evolution of association management companies and association management in general."

The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) is a national organization representing some 26,000 professionals employed by trade associations, professional societies, philanthropic organizations, and other nonprofit membership associations. The ASAE is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and competency of association executives in the field, and helping associations to better serve their members and the public.
